5 Fun Date Nights Ideas

Happy Valentine’s Day!

I feel like Valentine’s Day always gets a bad rep. You either love it or you hate it. I however, don’t get why everyone is always hating on Valentine’s Day! I know it’s a “Hallmark holiday” & we should love 365 days a year, and all that…but a day full of pink and candy? I AM HERE FOR IT! So whatever your situation is today, whether you’re a single pringle ready to mingle, just started dating someone new, or if this is your 10th Valentine’s Day with your sweetheart… Find a reason to celebrate!

I titled this post “Date Night Ideas” but these can definitely go beyond date night! These would be just as fun (…if not more fun!) to do with your closest gal pals.

By the way… I feel like I should mention. The following Date Night Ideas are all tried and true! Danny and I have done all of these and have had the BEST time. Okay so here they are…

Drink Around The World:

…and I’m not talking about going to Epcot.

So here’s a little story about how this date night idea came to be. SO Danny & I got locked out of his house one night. Instead of waiting around for someone to get home, we decided to walk to a shopping plaza right across the street. We started at a Mexican restaurant, where we had margaritas. Next, we hit up an Italian restaurant (in the same plaza) and had two aperol spritz. Finally we ended up (drunk) at a Thai Cafe where we concluded with sake bombs. It was such an unexpected fun date, and we talk about it all the time!

I think your date would not only love this idea, but be surprised by your creativity. This is also something you can do at home, just make sure you have the ingredients to make all the different drinks. Just please make sure to stay hydrated.😅

Unconventional Movie Date:

This date idea came to be, mostly because Danny & I are the most indecisive people EVER. Basically, it’s a regular date at the movies, with a twist. The twist is…instead of picking your own movie, ask your cashier to pick it for you! It’s fun and exciting, not knowing what you’ve just gotten yourself into. If the movie sucks, at least you’ll have something to laugh at after (tons of inside jokes!) This would definitely be a memorable date.

DIY Pizza Night:

A chill date, where I can wear sweatpants & have pizza. If that’s not romance, then I don’t know what is. Plus pizza is so easy and fun to make! Get creative…I’m talking heart shaped pizza dough, heart shaped pepperonis, all the EXTRA toppings.💁🏼‍♀️

Explore Your City:

You’d be surprised how many Valentine’s Day events are actually going down in your own backyard! I suggest looking up events on EventBright.com. If you’re local here are a few events happening in Miami that I found fun…

CasaBlanca will be playing at the Coral Gables Art Cinema, tickets are $40 and that includes: 1 rose, 2 tickets, 6 chocolate covered strawberries, and a bottle of wine.

Also happening in Coral Gables… a free event under the new “Sunlit Sky” art installation. They will be handing out complimentary flowers and sweets. This place is also the perfect spot to get cute pictures!

Fake An Engagement:

Ok so this is something we have never done! BUT if you’re bold enough, I think this would be HILARIOUS. Plus you’ll def get that free dessert. 💍

I hope you all have a fabulous Valentine’s Day! If you try any of these date night ideas, I would LOVE to here about it!💘
