Top 10 Hair Secrets

Hi Everyone!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I’m really excited about this post. I’ve noticed that you all really like my hair LOL. I always get the sweetest comments and questions about what I use and how I do it…but the truth is there’s no big secret! I don’t have a crazy hair routine, and when I cut it I always ask for the most low maintenance look. I do dye it, but to be honest I do it like once a year. I kinda like the grown out look. I always ask my hair dresser for balayage and to keep my natural base. Then I let her work her magic. I do however have a few products, tips, and tricks I use to keep my hair looking “so fetch.” So here goes…

1. Vitamin– First and foremost… I start everyday with a hair, skin, and nails vitamin. They’re made with biotin, vitamin A and E. Which also makes them great for skin health and collagen production. Plus they’re delicious!

2.Oribe Bright Blonde Shampoo– If you have blonde highlighted hair then you NEED to be using purple shampoo to prevent getting that weird yellow brassy color. This one is my favorite and the one I use religiously, but any purple shampoo will do the job.

3.Oribe Signature Moisture Masque– This is the BOMB! I use it every week to keep my hair healthy and moisturized. It is very pricey, but I highly recommend it. I apply it all over my head, then just chill in the shower lol…wash my face, brush my teeth (yeah I do that in the shower, am I the only one?) Then I rinse it off after a few minutes with COLD water. I know. I bathe in scorching hot water and I wouldn’t have it any other way, but it makes such a difference. Your hair will thank you!

4. Turbie Twist– If you’re like me and HATE the feeling of cold, dripping, wet hair when you get out of the shower, but also hate wearing a huge heavy towel on your head… Then you need a Turbie Twist. This is a must for me. It’s a light weight, super absorbent hair towel that absorbs excess water without drying out or breaking your hair. I LOVE my Turbie Twist.

5.Oribe Split End Seal– This is another great product, it binds split ends and helps prevent further damage. I use a small amount on the ends of damp hair.

6.L’Oreal Boost It High Lift Spray– Ok so if I had to pick a favorite product, it would be a tie between this volume spray and the Oribe Moisture Masque. If you’re looking to give your hair that extra little “oomf” then go to CVS right now and get this. It’ll give your hair crazy volume without weighing it down or making it super stiff.

7.Oribe Impermeable Anti Humidity Spray– Miami girls, you know our biggest hair issue is this heat and humidity! This spray will protect your curls even on the most humid of days. I’ll usually spray it before leaving the house if I know I’m going to be outside for a long time.

8. Superfine Hairspray– Everyone needs a good hair spray. What I love about this one is that it’s super light weight so it doesn’t weight down my curls. I also really like this L’Oreal hairspray

9.Dove Dry Shampoo– We’ve all been there, those days when you’re made up of 50% coffee and 50% dry shampoo. It’s definitely a product every girl should have. I’ve tried many dry shampoo’s but this one will always be my go-to. I love the fresh smell and the volume it gives my hair.

10.Hot Tools Curling Iron– Last, but not least…my beloved curling iron! This is the iron I’ve been using since high school to do my curls and beach waves. I love it because I can use it as a regular curling iron or a curling wand. I alternate depending on my mood and which type of curl I want.

…and that’s it! Maybe I’ll do a tutorial soon? Comment below if that’s something you would want to see. Also let me know if you’ve tried any of these products and your thoughts on them!
