It’s officially here, and I know most of you are just as excited as I am! October really is my FAVORITE month. I love everything about it, and Halloween is my jam. However, since I live in Miami I miss out on most of the “fall things” *sigh* ,like cooler weather and seeing the leaves change. BUT! I never let that stop me from living my best life in October…
This year I made a little October Bucket List, to make sure I don’t miss anything and really get the whole fall experience.
October Bucket List
1.Go To The Pumpkin Patch : Check! We have the cutest little pumpkin patch in my town and every year it just keeps getting better and better. It’s gotten to the point that it literally looks like Halloween Town…and I love it!
2.Have A Pumpkin Painting Party: Every year I have a pumpkin carving party…and every year I end up throwing away a pumpkin. Lol. Carving is not for me. It’s harder than it looks and its sounds more fun than it actually is. Plus, I HATE emptying out the inside of pumpkins! I’m hoping painting will be less stressful, and give me and my friends more time to drink wine.
3. Drink A Pumpkin Spice Latte: Basic, I know, but honestly I haven’t had one since I was in high school and I can’t even remember what they taste like!…it’s time.
4.Decorate for Halloween: Decorating is my favorite! It’s so much fun, and we always go all out. I can’t wait to start, so I can post and show you guys!
5.Bake Halloween Treats: Pumpkin bread! Every year Libby’s comes out with THIS pumpkin bread kit…and it is SO GOOD! This is an October staple in my household. Also, we have those little sugar cookies with the ghosts (you know the ones!) in my fridge all month long! Ready to be baked whenever we have a scary movie night or just want a sweet treat.
6.Halloween Movie Marathon: Which brings me to #6…I absolutely love scary movies. One of my favorite movies is the original “Halloween”, I know it’s supposed to be very scary but it just makes me so happy! You can imagine how excited I was when I found out they were making a remake this year! I cannot wait to see it!…I just hope it doesn’t disappoint! I also love all the fun Halloween movies, of course! I can quote HalloweenTown and Hocus Pocus ALL DAY. My TV will stay on FreeForm’s 31 days of Halloween all month long.
7.Halloween Horror Nights: SO exciting! I’ve going to HHN every year for the past 5 years! It’s always such a fun time! If you haven’t gone I totally recommend it. It’s scary, but the exciting kind of scary…if that makes sense. Lol.
8.Amazing Costume!: Last but not least, costume shopping! I’m a little crazy when it comes to my costume… I start thinking of ideas for months in advance, and spare no expense to have my ideas come to life. Anyone else feel the same way? I really want to share some of my costume ideas with you guys so be on the look out for those soon!
IF you made it this far… Thank you soo much for reading! I hope you have a boo-tiful October!
